does anyone know the reason for all these arrivals ???

Thanks,

What Dan's said, and I'm wondering if the tankers are "forward operating" from Aviano to support any missions flown with regards to the Middle East. Guessing they've moved to Aviano as it is closer to the "theatre" than Mildenhall is...

Just a thought, though.

Ok thank you.

I know that one of Aviano's Squadrons is already there, for over a month now, the 555th Fighter Squadron "Triple Nickel"

So I wonder if the 100th ARW have forward deployed to Aviano to support their missions then, as it is closer and quicker for them to get there.

Both C-17s have departed Aviano and are heading southeast going by ADSB.
