A few more from IAT '81

Post by F3 » Tue Jun 17, 2025 10:15 am

Here's some more of the interesting attendees @ IAT '81. A trio of the choppers from the Sea Search meet (incl. the 1st Frelon I ever saw) and a trio of Meteors from the 40 Yrs. of British Jet Power line incl. the last flying NF.11. Plus a USAF F-4 in the classic Vietnam era camo which had completely disappeared by the time of the Phantom 25 Ann. meet two yrs. later when all the USAF examples were in the less photogenic low-vis schemes.

Lovely Meteors Michael, I never got to see the RAE NF11 sadly.

Great shots and memories, always loved the Meteor. Sadly the NF11 was wfu not long afterwards and broken up for spares, although the cockpit survives somewhere.
