Excellent Mike - great scans from a great year!

Thanks for posting - '85 is the next lot to do in my bucket so watch out for them - probably in 2017

Cheers and keep them coming

Darren

IAT 85 is one of my all time favourite memories, particularly for the number of 104's that showed up and that line up of Phantoms too  I remember searching every nook & cranny for the "alleged F-106's" that were rumoured to be there but never happened  Great show, even the Sun shone for a spell, thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys.

According to the Scramble show report there were Ten German star fighters alone!

(2016 RIAT wasn't bad though - lots of Typhoons)

Aaaah - memories - just a pity digital photgraphy wasn't around at the time - I took a fair few snaps but was limited by the number of rolls of film I had!
I presume the pics were from the Sunday - I managed to have a bit more 'blue' on mine from the Saturday. (As ever the lottery of life that is the British summer weather).
Already looking forward to a similar posting from Knife.

Hi Buddy

I was there along with SWMBO, who was not impressed by the weather, or my continual 'It's going to brighten up soon'

Great shots: far better than mine

Thanks for posting

Paddyboy

Thanks for bringing back memories of my first I A T a day to remember given the date of Live aid at Wembley and the foggy start to record temps in the afternoon.
Here is one of mine from the great static we all miss today.

That would of been 1997, part of the USAF 50th celebrations.

This was my first IAT, great memories and thanks for a wonderful record of the statics on show then. Many thanks for taking the time to post and share :thumb:

I think this was the same aircraft, departures day 1997
