That Ramstein sharkmouth was certainly a mean looking beast. The more pics I see of it the more impressive it looks. We were certainly lucky to see (and photograph) that line - up.

Wonderful stuff Keith, didn't start IATing until 1985 so sadly missed the Greenham shows, but these are wonderful, lovely processing, that SC9 is just so nice.

Cracking memories of a classic show, I have 274 aircraft in my log book for that Saturday, we were well and truly spoiled then.

From what I remember seeing the AoA was pretty standard compared to other types. Not too high and not too low. I do remember that it kind of "slammed" itself to the tarmac compared to the more benign ways an F-15 or F-16 touches the ground. This was the case with at least the ones I saw landing (Germans, Turks, Greeks and RAF).
