I did go past on the train last month and the EH101 was still present, out the back of the museum. As far as I'm aware, the FW190 has made it to the Luftwaffe Museum at Gatow, in the Berlin suburbs. A great museum and always worth visiting, I would expect that the FW190 had now lost a couple of banned symbols from the tail. As we approach autumn, I might venture up sometime to see what's there.

RAF Museum, Hendon - 4th September 2022

Just a few record shots of the dismantled Bolingbroke. Since my last visit in April, the Battle has been reassembled in front of the B-17. Taken with my little 20MP shirt pocket friendly Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 M6 camera.

Thanks for sharing these. I wonder where the Bolingbroke is moving to, presumably Cosford.

Avro 671 (Cierva C-30A) Rota/K4232/(ex-SE-AZB) has now been repositioned and hung above the main entrance to Hangars 3, 4 and 5 which is in the process of having a new floor laid.

Hi Brian, I'd always thought that you had enormous patience to take these quality shots with so few visitors in the picture. However, we also visited on 1st December and were surprised how quiet it was. Very few visitors and working staff.
Was that you on the upper floor of hangar 6 as we walked in late morning?

I was expecting thousands of screaming school kids running around but the silence was deafening. Probably not me in the morning as my entry ticket was for 2.30pm.

Nice to see that the Rota has been elevated. I understand that the B-25 has departed and has found a new home at East Kirkby, maybe they can get it in ground running at least. I understand that a couple of Cosford residents have moved on loan to other museums, also a couple of long term stored aircraft are heading further afield.
