Seeing the Chipmunk takes me back, I really want to book a flight in one.

Great, the Danish Dak, saw plenty at Aberdeen and the Do-28, saw plenty during Northern Wedding.
Cheers.

An interesting selection of shots and a bit of variety as well. I saw plenty of Chipmunks over the years, but nice to see the Danish C-47s as well. The Skyservant was another favourite of mine and they seemed to pop up everywhere. Thanks for sharing these with us.

So lovely to see Chipmunk WB567!!

The very first time I left terrafirma was in the back cockpit of this wonderful aircraft on 3rd June 1973.

She was stationed at RAF Turnhouse with 12 AEF

I remember a couple of dents being pointed out on her, which were the result of errant golf balls. Operating from runway 26 at Turnhouse, finals were over the local golf course on Lennie Hill....

Thanks for posting a great picture of an old friend.
