More old slides...
Just scratching the surface layers of the slide boxes.
Some more slide scans of variable quality (one a re-edit from a previous post)... Slides have been unearthed after more than thirty years and are a bit mildewy and scratched (self-processed in a rather incompeted manner in some cases).
Some of the subject matter is rather rare these days! One of the blessings of being old is to have been around in the 60's/70's/80's. However, even then I was told that I'd missed the 'good old days'!
Some are obvious... For the others I've had a guess at some of the locations.
Enjoy or not.
If I'm wasting bandwidth (or whatever the techspeak is) let me know.

Not sharp but I do like this from Binbrook... fabulous sight and sound... Even better when not through the viewfinder.

Phantom Re-edit
Re: More old slides...
Nice re-edit on the Phantom, honestly... no bandwidth being wasted here, a nice blast from the past and I'm enjoying the improvement in results as you get to grips with scanning and editing.
As you say some rare stuff and a level of variety in types we will never see again.
Keep 'em coming.
Kev

Thanks Kev
It's quite a trip down 'memory lane'. I'm loving it... although I've now got a scanner I'd rather prefer a time machine!

Re: More old slides...
Yeah, I'm about 4500 slides into my scan project - lots of fond memories evoked and as I eluded to previously quite a few that seem to have evaded the memory completely.
Seeing the Tornado F3, made me smile - It was one of these from my collection very similar to this that scanned in really nicely and encouraged me to persevere when I was struggling to get anything decent in the very early days of scanning - of course had I given up I would have saved probably hundreds of man hours, but two years in it's feeling like I've achieved something although I think I'm only about half way through.
I've chosen to scan pretty much everything but will only edit to completion those that I feel are worth it, I sit scanning each tray/box just churning them through rather than messing about trying to find and pick out the best.
