A Sunday eight... more slides. (Another useless title!)

A few more fairly random 'smudges' from a while ago. As previously noted I didn't do numbers or locations, and more often than not just watched.
All been sat in a box in the garage for at least twenty-five years... Some from airshows... some not. I think that the wet harrier may be Abingdon?
I'm rather a fan of the F8 Crusader and Harrier GR3 jets... have read up quite a lot on their history. The F8 variable wing was astonishing, as was the tendency for early versions to try and swap ends on launch due to the lack of longitudinal stability... hence the strakes in later models.

Wow, what a set! Everyone a stunner :Wow:

Phantom departure is a fantastic shot - as are the GR3 shots

Yes the F-8 was an incredible aircraft.
There were so many different types back in that era.

This may sound a bit silly... any idea where I took the phantom departure shot?
