Dear All
Biggin Hill BoB 1965 again (I think...) Soooooo long ago, 25 years after the BoB that is now 82 years ago!!!
Fabulous access to the aeroplanes... however I reckon that I'd do a very, very, very careful pre-fight on the Monday a.m.
Love the navy chappie with the fag...

Thanks for sharing this shot, interesting shot and I wonder if it was a very new Bucc. There's no codes or any other markings on it.

XV153 at Biggin Hill 1966. Written off on 6/10/66 in Subic Bay while serving with 801 Sqn - stalled after take-off (due to a particular underwing weapons' loading). Both crew rescued.

Was this the incident that was possibly followed by a test pilot repeating it in trials from a carrier?mustang5861 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 8:11 amXV153 at Biggin Hill 1966. Very authentic....particularly with the attendant matelots. (Could be re-enactors tho'!)
