Great summer weather and very relaxed for photography with good access to the flightline. The Hunter formation was in the air to mark the retirement of the type by 1TWU.

Thanks for sharing these, great shots. I only made it to a couple of Air Days at Chivenor, due to the fact that it was on a weekday and couldn't always get the time off work.

Lovely. Great to see the Hunter formation. Evocative memories of the Vampire T.11. [flew in one as an ATC Cadet]. Last time I saw the Vintage Pair example it was sadly crashing.......

Thanks for your comments! No the Galaxy was a fly through. I think the Bucc XW547 is now in the RAF museum, makes me feel like a museum piece. Daz.
