Seems hard to believe that it is now 30 years ago that the last ones departed,appreciate that these have been posted before but thought it was appropriate to mark the anniversary.

If the european situation had been different & the 20th FW had stayed. I wonder if F111E's would have still been replaced with F16's or the wing would have received F15E's?
