Fantastic images of some great aircraft,oh for aircraft to take off like that nowadays rather than the straight to the heavens
departures we are now faced with.

They certainly do!

We had some great visitors to Binbrook. Starfighters being my favorites. Always new it would be a 'spirited' takeoff when the barrier was lowered!
Best sight ever was being on the pan during a Central Enterprise (?) excercise carrying out O.T.R. training and watching 18 F-4F's attack the airfield.
(Many stories to tell, but won't bore you.) :whistle:
