Likewise :) .
It would have been Feb or early March 1993. I have also lost my notes, but still have the prints which include the mass F3 / Bucc launches and the anniversary marked 899 Sqn Sea Harrier.

I presume this was a mass exercise? Not sure what TLP means. Would anyone know where they mainly headed to on exercise?

TLP is Tactical Leadership Programme AKA TLC Tactical Leadership Course.
If memory serves me correctly they operated not far from the location of yourself.
I also seem to remember, during this course, a light civil being turned away from St.Mawgan because they "....are expecting to recover sixty-plus fast-jets within the next forty minutes." Days like those are now sadly history! Mass launches, mass recoveries equals happy spotters!

i say again.. HAPPY DAYS :D

can't believe we were all standing on that wall!! question is will we ever meet on that wall again??? i very much doubt it! :(

All of you should have a 20th anniversary reunion next year on that wall! I was 14 in Feb '93, wish i'd taken more interest back then on what was flying round here! It was pretty relentless at times. Depressingly quiet these days.

I was on holiday in that very Area in the Summer of 1993 just before IAT'93 and all we got were RAF SAR Helicopters and a Do.228 or summit, got more movements at Culdrose. Now those movements would have been the Spotting Highlights apart from IAT and Yeovilton Visits.
