Re: Plovdiv 26/10
Back at the hotel
Plovdiv museum is basically brilliant and well worth a visit
Logged six Bulgarian MiG-29 Fulcrums
12
14
15
31
37
38
Two L-39
147
203
And numerous Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters
The MiG-29 are operating from an area close to the road opposite the museum , not far from the civil terminal and fairly easy to identify
Anyone know how many MiG-29 are temporarily at Plovdiv while the Graf runway is up ?
Ta

Re: Plovdiv 26/10
The same six Fulcrums were present Thursday morning
You can eyeball them as you drive past
Left the area Thursday morning to do some W and R plus Sofia military museum prior to RTB Luton

Did you see any of the Krumovo locals? Bell 206 / AS532?

Re: Plovdiv 26/10
No, funnily enough we didn't. Only choppers noted were Mi-24 and Mi-8 and most of those were stored and readable from a track at the opposite end to the terminal and temporary MiG-29 area

Re: Plovdiv - Krumovo 26-27 October 2022
In the two and half days we were in the Plovdiv region we logged 70 MiGs including 6 active Fulcrums
Plus 4 unidentified MiG-15 stored in a compound within the Plovdiv museum
Just 4 Su-22 fitters were logged
