Lovely Day at Old Warden if not over cast. Vintage cars stole the show apart form the OV-10 which put one a top display totally suited to OW and used the bend to best effect.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is meant by 'the bend'?

There’s a dog’s leg or bend near the control tower that displaying aircraft use, on occasion, to curve around and show the top side of the aircraft.

Thanks for sharing these with us, great shots and being a member, I suppose I'm biased. But if you like what you see, maybe visit one day and you could be pleasantly surprised. Nice to see the Hermes Moth G-EBWD, it's been based at the airfield since 1932, so holds the record for longest resident aircraft at a base in the UK. I do realise it's not military, but it's still nice to see this sort of aircraft.
