RAF Waddington Departure day.

Post by Macc » Sun Dec 06, 2009 4:45 pm

Been looking through old shots and by re-editing I got some pleasing results.

Face-to-face with a KLu F-16.

Ratchet
Thanks.
I'm unsure what you mean by system so I'll put my camera kit and software.
Camera Kit - Nikon D50 and Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6 used here. (I also have a Nikkor 18-55mm for statics.)
Software - Adobe Photoshop CS2.

If you want I can edit a couple of your pictures for you, see what I can do?

Hope this helps,
Chris.

Fabulous set of pictures Chris, especially loving the head on taxi shots excellant stuff. I think Monday (departures) is definately the best day to visit Waddo for seriously good picture taking. Well done! :thumb:

Like your story about racing the Typhoon to Coningsby, I take it you had your scanner on so you knew which one it was and how to ID it? You weren't driving a Bugatti Veyron by any chance?

Got to say Chris - you've certainly got some better shots of the Lakenheath guys than me, and I live next door!

Head on F-16 and 3/4 F-4F are fantastic, really well composed :thumb:
