Unfortunately, due to having to go into hospital, I missed RIAT last year so it's good top see a selection from the event!

Your panning skills are good - it won't be long before you're dropping your shutter speed even more! As for the quality, I do like the take-off shots - the MC-130 being the best in my opinion, partly because there are no buildings in the background - though I recognise that this is outside your control! - and also because he's got his gear up yet is only a few metres above the deck. The shallow angle adds to the composition. The helicopters too are excellent, with the Arctic Sea King standing out - a rare catch, particularly in the field.
