A Bit of Chalk Dust at OW - 15Apr10

Post by Pen Pusher » Fri Apr 16, 2010 7:26 pm

Ventured over to Old Warden on the Thursday during the Pilots Training Week. The weather seems to have been consistent during that time being rubbish in the morning and sunny in the afternoon and it was a bit cool while I was there although some seemed to think it was cold. Finally gave my Sony 70-400mm G SSM lens and Sony Alpha 450 camera a good work out and quite pleased with what I came away with and a bit more practice I think. I spent the morning not far from the tower and the afternoon at the top end of the airfield for some landing/take off shots.

Nice pics Brian. Great to be back at OW for another year.

Interesting that the Swift came out, but it hadn't gone up by the time we left.

Great shots! Can't wait for the airshow season to begin
Quick question; Did you see anything much of the collections Spitfire? Just wondering whether that will get in the air this season!

Thanks
Jack Goward
