Duxford 16/05/10 The Rest

Post by MacksAviation » Mon May 17, 2010 10:25 am

As per the thread dedicated to Miss Demeanor I had the day outside the wire 'experimentating' with various camera settings.

Shutter Speeds vary on these between 1/125 and 1/500th. Metering at times was quite tricky with the back lit clouds but on the whole I think I got some pleasing results.

3 Hurricanes in a line is a cracker. The cloud position is just right to increase the impact! :Wow: :thumb:

Thanks for the compliments Guys much appreciated.

@Jonay
Setup for these was the Canon 1DmkIIn and the Canon 100-400mm.

As for the camera settings they varied during the day and were experimental a lot of the time.

The light proved tricky at times especially when trying to preserve some cloud detail but overall it was a good days experimenting.

Post processing of the RAW images was done in Adobe Lightroom2.

Cheers

Dave
