Duxford Spring Display

Post by Seamus » Mon May 17, 2010 8:24 pm

Evening all

Had a fantastic day at DX yesterday. Early weather forecasts didn't look good, but I'm glad we chanced them as it turned out to be pretty good for much of the day, just a shame the light went a bit for the last few displays.

Star of the show goes to Miss D, Flapjack really knows how to throw that jet around and show the Hunter off to it's absolute best. Greatest Hunter display I ever saw :  Thoroughly enjoyed Stephen Grey's typically aggressive display in the Sea Fury, and thought the Provost pair were excellent.

Still getting to grips with the new set up, but much happier with my results compared to Abingdon.

Hi Shaun, what time did the Sabre fly? We held on untill 4.30pm but had to get off to beat the traffic

Great Pics anyway, loving the Hunter :thumb:

Best

Thanks for the comments chaps, much appreciated :)

Rob, the Sabre went up between 5 and half past- 2 passes in formation with Miss D before breaking and flying her own solo.

Here's a few more edits for your perusal :D

A cracking set Shaun - I havn't had the chance to edit any of mine yet (damn you MATLAB!).

Favourite for me would have to be the JP takeoff - that was a fantastic bank at the end, and you caught it nicely :thumb:

It was great to finally put a face to the name! :)
