Hi all,

These are some photo's taken during a long weekend in Hungary for their bi-annual air show. After a few weather scares the sun came out to shine on both days to make an excellent show even better...........

Good god what a line up,
blows Riat into the weeds, and i bet the entrance and set up blew it away also,
just shows how much RIAT is such a rip off.

With that line up, gotta be the best airshow in Europe this year. I think I've just given up on UK Airshows. Europe hopefully next year for me.

Hope I'm not treading on Kevin's toes here but just to add:-
Went to the 2007 show. It was about £15 to get in and a really good set up back then.

Great event. Would definately recommend it to anyone, and Budapest ain't bad either.

Makes me jealous to see what I missed when I left great set!

Some absolute belters in there, last Hind shot in particular.

Interesting to see the fake cockpit painted on the underside of the Spanish Mirage.

Just one word.... WOW!!! Some stunning shots there mate! The last Hind is superb matey!!

Now thats what you call a line up, some interesting types and shcemes there.

Couldn't agree with you more, it really does go to show just how much RIAT/IAT has slipped over the years and is only a shadow of it's former self - This IS what you call a MODERN MILITARY AIRSHOW, just look at all those fast jets, cracking colour scheme's and how many different nation's taking part..... I can't see any Spam Can's (no offence intended to those who like such things, but I don't!) filling up the gaps in the static either (RIAT, Waddington etc. take note!).

This is the first year I decided not to go to Fairford since 1989 and I won't be going back!!

Thanks bobthehandyman! It is a sad thought, but a realistic one that a line up like this may never happen again. The HuAF Migs should be long gone by the time the show comes round again, and you have to wonder about some of the other attendees!
