Leuchin' good.. (part 2 added)

Post by Macc » Sun Sep 12, 2010 7:38 pm

Award for the worst pun please..? :thumb:

This year I decided to go outside as there wasn't much in static, and if there was, we all know the situation on it.. However I wanted to nail a few of the flying items (SAAB 105, SAAB J29 Tunnan, Sabre and Norwegian Vampire aswell as the F3s) so elected to go outside.. Here's a taster..

13. This jet, HB/ZE961, performer of the sunset ceremony and the last to land completing the airshow was ex-GA/ZE961 that arrived as part of the first two F3s 21 years ago during the 1989 airshow! History for you, very fitting!

Sorry to correct you but it's actually ZE961 the serial. This jet should be preserved at Leuchars as it's the first and last based Tornado F.3 which was seen in public at the Airshow.

A really nice collection Chris. I particularly like the four Hunters. Looking forward to some more.

Did the Reds half pirouette on the runway towards the crowd after their display, as they did last year?

I'm not sure, from where they were parked I don't think they would have?

Wow shots mate, I always said you had the eye and you've turned into one hell of a great photographer. Top draw images, for some reason i'm drawn to the F-86 Sabre, just stunning.
