I remember going on a coach trip from Yeovil with my Dad. I was only just 10 a the time, so never had a camera. Its nice to see some photos of the action. Think we went on the Sunday. Thanks for posting.

Re: RAF Greenham Common 1974
Finally managed to open it and thank you, it's generated a lot of memories. I have a few snaps, using my Dad's Instamatic camera which I 'borrowed' for the day. I managed to persuade my Mum to take me on the Sunday and luckily she was more enthusiastic about this sort of event than my Dad and I had no other way of getting there. It was an eye-opener of a show for me, lots of what we could call exotic stuff. To see the C-118 and C-121 in the static, plus Danish F-100s, a few F-104s and other delights. It was the first time I'd seen Austrian military aircraft, with Saab 105s and a Sikorsky S-65 in attendance, they didn't keep the latter too long. Displays by the Belgian Mirage, French Crusader and the ANG KC-97 were memorable, but right at the end of the show, as we were about to leave, an unfamiliar sight appeared in the distance when the Indian B-24 performed a flypast on its way to Lyneham at the end of its delivery flight. The aircraft is now displayed at the RAF Museum at Hendon of course.
