One Last Ride... The Blades final, final display

After the final display of The Blades at Sywell in April, in some less than ideal weather conditions, the Blades Ball put on one last display which culminated with a final sunset (ish) display by The Blades to bring to an end their time on the display circuit, over 1500 displays and over 17 years flying around the world. All taken from within the car park at Sywell Aerodrome.

The evening kicked off with a flypast of 5 Blades including Andy Offer, the original Blade 1 and MH415 Spitfire which was incredible to see and definitely one that I won't forget in a hurry before the 4 current Blade pilots beginning a stunning routine in the fading evening light. Agree, also a shame that people weren't allowed down by 'The Pilots Mess' as that would have been a great spot - those passes by the Spitfire and Blades were something else though
