Buccaneer Day

Post by stevejb » Mon Apr 08, 2024 3:18 pm

A few pictures taken at the Yorkshire Air Museum during a special day/night shoot on the 6th April to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Buccaneer's retirement.

The museums three airframes XN974, XX901 and XV168 were all given an airing, of what is now the largest number of Buccaneers in one location.

Thanks for sharing these, great shots of an iconic type, sadly missed from displays now. I visited the museum back in August 2022, so really must make the effort to return.

Superb set Steve. The Navy one looks particularly good in the dark. That star which appears on a couple of them really enhances them. Is it Venus?
