A selection from an enjoyable day at Old Warden today - the Spitfire XIV and Jet Provost T3A were my particular highlights, but there were many other excellent displays too...

Thanks for sharing these with us, welcome publicity for the Shuttleworth Collection too. Hard to pick a favourite amongst them. Minor error, the Auster AOP.9 was not built by Taylorcraft, but there's some excellent shots here.

Thankyou Paddyboy - yes even the weather was on our side for this one (mostly), attracting a good crowd for the show.

Thankyou, and correction noted about the Auster - my bad habit of always blindly prefixing any Auster with Taylorcraft will be considered far more carefully in future!

Another stunning set Prof. Particularly liking the JP3, an ex - 1FTS display ship.

Thankyou. Did XM479 ever actually fly as a 1FTS display aircraft, or is it just marked up as one? It regained these markings in 2011 or so, initially with Serco titles on the tip tanks, subsequently gaining the 1FTS titles instead (which doesn't quite look like the same font compared to photos of other 1FTS display aircraft in period).
