Thought I'd commented on this set Craig, I am going senile! Excellent shot but love the C47

That full prop blur on the C47 is superb! Very well done, how slow is that shutter speed since you still ended up with a lovely & sharp image. Any other exif info on that image would be really helpful as I struggle with that type of shot. I have a 450d with a sigma 400mm IS lense.

Hi Craig,
I like the Mustangs on the pass, as I struggled with them as coming from the left, most of the aircraft was in shadow despite them being mostly well lit. Tried the same on the RV8tors but focused on the wrong one. Good stuff on the Dak as well, it looked rather worn and in need of a touch of paint to me!

Thanks very much guys appreciate the comments, it is a lovely show.
Martin, with regard the prop blur on the Dakota shots the EXIF is ISO100 1/25th f18 (evaluative metering +1/3rd). This was handheld but only at 200mm with a 4stop image stabiliser. Perhaps with your lens you would require a tripod to get this much prop blur and a sharp shot when they are taxiing allowing you to pan smoothly with it but without any shake...

Brilliant set of photos Craig, puts my set from Rougham to shame. The DC-3 photos are brilliant
