A fairly low key open day at a pretty enthusiast un-friendly air base. The flight line was good though enabling some good opportunities of shooting the lovely ex CEV Vautour. Held in late September, this was the last public display by the Pat Suisse with Hunters...

Is shot 12 a Mirage IV, as I have never seen a shot of one before?

Thanks all, very much appreciated feedback. Yes paddyboy, that is indeed a Mirage IV- it had performed a JATO take off (the display line/runway was miles from the crowd ) and then landed and was promptly shoe-horned into a HAS designed for a much smaller variant of a Dasault delta! I never understood the French AF's secrecy over such an obsolete, fairly poor, ageing Recce platform until it was retired?!

Amazing set, I had no idea there was still a Vautour flying in 1994. From Google I see it's now stored at Orange although I don't know what sort of condition it's in.
