Bahrain Airshow - **Static shots added**

Well here we go, some shots of the flying from the first Bahrain Airshow. Mainly a trade show, so they havent taken into consideration the fact that all the media are shooting into the sun!

However, I went hunting outside the base on the far side, and found one small corner, thats okay with the local constabulary, and got some photos, because yesterdays all went in the bin.

Weather played up all day, 30+ knot winds, haze, blowing sand/dust, blue skies returned before it clouded over for the star items, and then went lovely again!

First up was a flypast by 3 F5, 3 Hawk and 3 F16 of the Bahrain AIrforce, unfortunately they were high and bottom side...



Pat de France then took off for a flypast with Gulf Air



and returned alone...



Team Viper did a good job in the high winds



and then the weather went pooh...Not a great shot, but ive never seen a B1 at this angle before after flying through...



Nimitz VFA41 Cagbird flown by a Virginia crew apparently...



Cant believe in 2 days I still havent got a decent shot of the SU-27



Sporty take off to say the least!



Awesome display as ever



Show closed with the Saudi Hawks - first half of their display was a bit distant, livens up in the second half - first time ive seen em, so im happy!



Final day tomorrow, hoping weather will play ball. Static shots to follow

Lovely shots mate, but i have to say it, even on FC.... that last tinky Airbus shot is wonderful!

Team Viper got there darn quick didn't they!
They only left Exeter for Toulouse on Tuesday according to Adam who monitored them leaving.

The show is at the new Sakhir airbase, right next to the F1 circuit.

Weather was perfect today, a very happy bunny! pretty much same display line up, but nice clear skies...





This was superb - again!



But what happens when you throw things around?



landed about 5 minutes later after flying around trying to shake it down by the look of it, thought it was going to screw up this...



This guy was lower today - lucky me!



I will get round to the static stuff honest.
