Just curious as to how many transfer their images from camera to PC using hardwire or use wireless.

Do you lose quality ?
Does it depend on say 5G ?
Has anybody measured the content of the the same two transferred images after download?

For what it's worth, I used to use USB to upload from my Canon 1DX onto my PC without any issues. Nowadays, I have to use a memory card reader to upload the Fuji files.
As for wireless Fuji transfer, I've never tried it. The app is so infuriating that my phone would not stand me temper tantrum

I just use the USB cable never had a problem

I use both wireless (wi-fi) and USB cable, as well as SD card adapter.

In every case the transferred images are identical.

Headance99, I asked the staff to move your post into the correct section - just in case you're wondering where it went.

Never used a cable to camera, always a separate card reader.

The quality of the images transferred will be identical by any transfer method. A few notes:
I use my Canon EOS80D on a daily basis - may not be a problem on other models or with less frequent use

• Removing the card and putting card in a reader is fastest method

• Removing the card daily eventually caused the memory card door switch to fail from over-use

• Transferring by wireless takes much longer than by USB or by card reader (per image transferred)

• Continually plugging and unplugging USB cable will possibly cause camera socket failure in the very long term [build quality of the more modern cameras does not seem to be as good as older models]

• If bluetooth wireless is left permanently enabled the camera [Canon EOS80D] can freeze if you try to use the camera to take pictures within bluetooth 'range' and your PC is set to automatically transfer images and is switched on, as picture transfer and camera use cannot occur seamlessly together.

The best way I've found is to use Bluetooth wireless to transfer images but only enable wireless when you need to transfer images and disable immediately they have been copied. Leaving bluetooth permanently enabled reduces battery life so (IMHO) should be avoided.

Granted other makes and models may not suffer the same problems.
