My usual set up is a Nikon D7500 with a Sigma 150-600 C zoom. However, from time to time I find this doesn't have quite enough reach. I've seen the Sigma TC 1401 1.4x teleconvertor for this lens and was wondering what if any are folks experiences of such a set up.

Hello mate. Yes I use one on a Sigma 150-500 C lens. I works perfectly. Mounted on a Canon 750d or a Canon 5d Mkll. I don't use all of the time, but when called upon at airshows etc it performs well.

Cheers
John.

Just bought one second hand from MPB a few days ago for my 150-600 Sport.
I've read all the negative reviews, most of which advise that cropping the image results in much the same result.
Only done a couple of test shots so far and have hardly used the lens either but judging by the few test shots I have done it's worth the outlay.
I shot a telegraph pole from a huge distance wide open ie 840mm f9, hand held with OS on and whilst I've only looked at the images on the back of the camera I'd say it's a bargain. All the text from the warning plaque is needle sharp.
Mine will be used predominantly for Moon shots.
