Advice required regarding Lens.

I have a EOS250 and a EOS200, a EF-S 18-135 and a EF-S 75-300 Lens fitted to them and the associated weight

Looking at getting a second hand EF-S 18-300 lens good to replace 1 body and the above 2 lenses.

Or would I be better staying with what I have.

Many thanks
Andrew

I personally consider you're already in the right place with your current equipment for your budget?

All super zooms have a trade-off with image quality (IQ) at some points (possible all?) of the focal length imo.
Later & markedly more expensive Zoom lenses have addressed these shortcomings to the poor IQ, but you pay
premium prices for that performance!

My advice is to save your money for now until you can afford a major upgrade to your kit. High quality Optics are
key to IQ , but a good Camera body with a superb processor will trump mega pixel-count every time.

If you're happy with the kit you have then stick with it. It depends on what you strive for. If it is high quality images like some of those posted on here then you will struggle without that suggested major upgrade. Your two camera bodies I could not comment on. The EF-S 18-135 I have used bit and my wife extensively with some good results (non-aviation in her case). The EF (not EF-S) 75-300 is supposedly one of Canon's poorest performers in terms of IQ but again if it satisfies your needs then no problem. Photography should be about enjoying the hobby and being happy with your results. As with all things, if not happy then see what you need to do and within your ability - and that inclued finance of course. It can be and usually is an expensive hobby.

Enjoy!
