I noticed in the Forces TV program "Fast Jets Long Lenses" that a majority of the aircraft turned right after Bwlch and headed towards Bala, I have also noticed this in a lot of the aviation videos on here lately and on Youtube. Does anyone know if the Bala lake position that Gareth pointed us to, http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=20165 is busier than it used to be? As I cannot walk very far and have been ill this year I am particularly interested in this site if it does have more traffic over the lake. I do like this place so any info please?

Hit and miss as usual, but a lot of traffic does end up going to bala after bwlch.

No more than usual Dai, it does depend on how busy the loop is as well. Yesterday we saw some Hawks, one GR4 and a pair of Hercs head up to Bala but a few left the Bwlch and turned for Trawsfynydd instead of the full right turn to Bala.
