Bwlch Carpark/laybay Closed?

Post by punkmonkey22 » Mon Sep 16, 2024 3:56 pm

Hi all, planning to visit the loop again tomorrow but I've heard parking at Bwlch is closed due to roadworks?
Can anybody verify please?

Thanks,

Cad layby closed, Bwlch open. You can still get through the road closure and drive up Cad East.
Alternatively park in Dolgellau and get the T2 bus which will drop you off at the layby.

The Cad West Layby is closed until 5/10/24 to allow road resurfacing contractors to park their equipment there.
The A487 is open during the day and closed at 21:00 - 07:00 each night.
The Bwlch Layby is open as normal.

That's great, thanks guys. Sounds like they got the two mixed up.
