The latest photos I've seen from Peter Reoch from a few weeks back showed it still under wraps in the Restoration Centre. I think there are delays sorting the contract from BAe to allow it to go on display.

Hi, I did post this two weeks ago, but don't know where it went. So it could have changed.
EAP is (was 2 weeks ago) stored in hangar 9 still awaiting release. They couldn't have it using valauble space within MBRC.
The Nimrod is being assembled between hangr 3 & 4 and should be complete by now.

No change with EAP as of today but a number of things are happening behind the scenes apparently. It's still in hangar nine.

Rumours suggest EAP is scheduled to go back into the MB centre very soon to have a touch up. My guess is display is imminent.
Does anyone know any more?

No sign of it in the main display hangars last Sunday (July 14th).

Hi,
I was there on Tuesday and was told it is still 'in storage'...
Cheers

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

"EAP is going into the recon centre for 'slight' remedial soon"
"It should be finished before the end of the year"
That's the latest from this weeks visit.
For interest, the Hampden has been lifted up so work can be carried out on its Bombay doors.

Hi
Not sure if this is old news, but visited the museum today and the EAP is now on display in with the other experimental aircraft.

Thanks for that Mick.
I took a visit to take some pics of it. It looks good and can't understand the hassle they had with paperwork to put it on display. They were talking about moving the Jaguar down to be along side it and shuffling others about too. They have run out of space, so I think they should be looking for some more roof area soon.

Visited Cosford this morning and was pleased to see EAP at long last; unfortunately, as "mrwrgj" points out they have run out of space and it's not very easy to photograph.
Whilst the Tornado has been moved to an adjacent spot, this too is not easy to photograph without a (very) wide angle lens. The Jaguar has indeed been moved to an excellent spot against the wall. I had hope to see the Dornier exhibition but was told it was temporarily closed for filming - one for next time perhaps!
Incidentally, Does anyone know what happened to the Boulton Paul Defiant replica when their museum closed? I was expecting to see it in Hangar 1 but no joy.
