Edinburgh military tattoo flypasts 2024

No quite relating to the Flypasts but it is a Tattoo related question, Do Edinburgh Airport recieve many visitors connected to The Tattoo itself? Like Transport Planes with Performers and Equipment....?

I suspect there might be at times. Not quite sure. However, I do remember I believe seeing a Japan Airlines (dreamliner?) one year heading into Edinburgh airport on the glidepath, whilst I was enjoying a summer walk round Arthur's seat. I think a Japanese military performance group were at the tattoo at the time. I can't remember exactly what year, but it must've been around 2008? Someone who paid more attention might be able to answer that question!

So I would guess that was the reason why there were those two US Navy Gulfstreams recently then?
