Yes, that's from last year , I've heard that 2 x 100 sqn Hawks are doing a flypast on 14/08.

At time of posting NOTAMS still do not appear to have been issued however a post by jimauckland2000 on the ScotAvNet group yesterday states the following:

“the exact aircraft have not yet been confirmed however I can tell you that there will be a variety of planes and helicopters.
The fly over dates and times are as follows;
4th August: 19:30
8th August: 21:00
10th August: 21:00
14th August: 21:00
16th August: 21:00
24th August: 21:00”

Be interesting to see what aircraft come over? Think I'm at Saturdays Tattoo but will miss the flypast on the 10th due to prior engagement so hopefully will see a majority of them Weather permitting of course.

XW216 Puma currently in the Forth bridges/Edinburgh area at 1200ft. Presuming out for a practice before tonight.

We had the Puma flying near us in the Craigmillar Castle area about 20 minutes ago. If I remember correctly, helicopters have been based at either Redford or Dreghorn barracks in the past.

I managed to track it as it followed the M90 to Milnathort where it dropped off. Looks like they were out for a little jolly.

Tonight’s aircraft is already in the Bass Rock hold. Call sign Ascot 471

And Puma c/S Vortex 230 is the second aircraft for tonight.

Never saw the Puma but did catch the A400 overhead Kirknewton Airfield on it's way South.

Puma was over castle at 1920, ZM408 was overhead at 1930hrs.

Saw the Puma from the q getting into the Tattoo and the A.400 was going over as I was getting to my seat. Saw the backside of it from under the stand!
