Both parked on Taxiway Mike for a nightstop, one behind the other.

Can anyone confirm both were 60 AMW/ 349 AMW Aircraft from Travis AFB? I ready both unit markings from the nose of one but wasn’t sure about the other. Of course they had Travis tail marks.

I’m sure the 60thAMW is the flying unit at Travis for KC-10/C-5/C-17 ops. The nose markings may have been removed however in preparation for the boneyard or for the so called ‘AMC grey tail policy’ where AMC aircraft will lose unit marks/badges etc.

Hope this helps :thumb:

We should get more movements like this. Best surprise I’ve had in ages - Since the Edinburgh COP26 movements.
