Mystery Hercules?
Mystery Hercules?
Was Edinburgh supposed to have a visit by a German Hercules today? Saw it mentioned on FR24 but unless I’ve missed it never saw it. Guess it must have cancelled due to Events……….?
Re: Mystery Hercules?
There are no German C-130s, nor anyone else's for that matter, showing on the arrivals list for Edinburgh, either as due or as cancelled. I think you may have misread what you were looking at.
Re: Mystery Hercules?
GAF858 A319 15+03 was planned into Edinburgh for an approach but it went to Prestwick instead, apparently the info on FR24 regarding it being a C-130 was incorrect.
Re: Mystery Hercules?
Fr24 says C130 because 1503 is in there dbase as such, which is a mixup for a Polish C130H.
Re: Mystery Hercules?
Note that Polish Hercules serial 1503 is a C-130E not an "H"
Re: Mystery Hercules?
Typical FR24, the most unreliable website I’ve seen.

Re: Mystery Hercules?
ADS-B Exchange has better coverage, or Plane Finder. In fact I use all three at various times. Don't forget they all have playback to help find those "missing" sightings.
Re: Mystery Hercules?
Talking Hercules Mysteries involving Edinburgh, any idea why the US KC-130 has diverted back to Cambridge? Lost?
Re: Mystery Hercules?
On a test flight, but what has this got to do with Edinburgh?

Re: Mystery Hercules?
Because it was due in to Edinburgh unless that useless Webside FR24 is playing up again. Mind you it has been mentioned in the Overhead/ Heads-Up section that it is due in here today.
