Arriving Edinburgh this afternoon was French AF ( but with French Navy call sign and out of Evreux naval airbase) Xingu 103 ‘YT’.

As far as I am aware, all of the French Xingus are pooled these days so the callsign will be whichever branch of the military is using it, irrespective of the markings

Yes Mark, that is my understanding as well. Have witnessed plenty of examples of this from arrivals at Edinburgh.
