Being a "Young 'un" I didn't get to witness some of the great aircraft you guys have been lucky to see!

As a kid, I LOVED the SR-71 Blackbird, so my list will be:

1) SR-71 Blackbird

2) Any Phantom (lucky to have seen the Greek ones at RIAT - never been happier!! )

3) Of course, the Tornado GR4 - what a beast, what a noise


There are many more I could add, but these would be my top 3 if I had to choose!

Not a great fan of UK mil aircraft , my allegiance lies across the Atlantic .
.But picking a top three has proved to be a little difficult.
No.3 F-105D/F/G Thunderchief George AFB 1979 A ramp full of these is enough to stir any ones soul
No 2 EC-121 Warning star, Midnight memories of two of these taxing in at Mildenhall after the pub closed.
No 1 F-106 Delta Dart Awesome Has always been love at first sight and sound since August 1979 .
Types that nearly made it F-14 Tomcat very hard to cast this one a side
The C-141 Starlifter a type that changed my entire aircraft interests
The C-124 Globemaster An aircraft i saw far to few of but remember with great affection.
