I'm sure if it was a problem, they'd have declined the invitation to attend.

I take it this will be at Coningsby again, unless runway works at Lossie will be finished by then.

With the Italians using Waddington last time I wouldn't be surprised to see the Israeli's use Waddington too. The space at Coningsby (I assume) must have been at maximum capacity considering the Italians only brought three aircraft.

Re: Cobra Warrior 2019
Please pardon the question, but is it also Saudi Green Flag at Coningsby this year as well as Cobra warrior or is it all one exercise?

The Saudis train their own Aircrew have done for a few years now on 3 Sqn at Taif. They also run their own Training Facility for Ground crew at Taif.dinger wrote : 29 Sqn trains the Saudi Aircrew and Groundcrew.

Although Coningsby did have 12 or more Luftwaffe aircraft resident at that time.StevenNFFC wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 1:52 amWith the Italians using Waddington last time I wouldn't be surprised to see the Israeli's use Waddington too. Re: Israeli fighter jets to take part in exercise over British skies
I know you said you assume space may have been limited but it does seem funny to me how our bases cant seem to cope with a few extra numbers of aircraft now days, how did they cope at Coningsby when we still had tornados, harriers and jaguars based there as the numbers must have been a lot more than we have now? Or are typhoon numbers close to the total numbers of the various types we had based at Coningby back then? Not trying to start a debate or argument just very curious to know the situation, maybe certain areas of the base are not maintained so extra space is no longer available? Same goes for Waddington, they used to host all the different countries for operation nomad? (I think that's what it was called) they had lots of various jets based there for exercise over the north sea, not sure exactly how many jets but I bet they would struggle to host such events now? Oh, if only we could go back to the 80's and 90's when there was still loads of stuff to watch, I was born in the 90s so it was the start of the decline in aircraft but still have some very good memoriesStevenNFFC wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 1:52 amWith the Italians using Waddington last time I wouldn't be surprised to see the Israeli's use Waddington too. That note contradicts its self a little, one part says RAF Waddington, other part says bases to be confirmed......
Either way, good to see Israelis will be over here.

Hadn't noticed that, odd.
Also confirms that both the Germans & Italians will be returning.
