Have you worked for the Chinese (Black) Media section for very long? :-)
No, only about a year or so!

Just for the sake of balance, here's NBC News' report of the latest US visit to Taiwan:

From SCMP:

The People’s Liberation Army said H-6K bombers and aerial tankers will be part of “regular” patrols near Taiwan, as two US warships sailed through the Taiwan Strait on Sunday.

PLA Air Force spokesman Senior Colonel Shen Jinke said the long-range strategic bombers had carried out “countless” operations near the island in recent years.

“The H-6Ks – along with other fighters, reconnaissance aircraft, early warning aircraft and [aerial] tankers – will continue to fulfil these missions,” Shen told reporters at an air force open day in Changchun, Jilin province on Sunday.

Shen also showed photos of H-6K bombers carrying out patrols over the Bashi Channel, the Miyako Strait, the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait.

He made the remarks as two American warships – the guided-missile cruisers USS Antietam and USS Chancellorsville – were conducting what the US Navy’s Seventh Fleet called “a routine Taiwan Strait transit”.

The PLA Eastern Theatre Command said it was tracking the US Navy vessels, staying on high alert and “ready to thwart any provocation”.

It was the first American naval transit through the strait since US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taipei early this month, angering Beijing and prompting large-scale PLA exercises around the island.

From 'SCMP':

PLA sends record 71 warplanes near Taiwan after US increases military aid

More than 70 People’s Liberation Army (PLA) warplanes carried out operations near Taiwan in the 24 hours until 6am on Monday [26th December], with more than half crossing the de facto border between the self-ruled island and mainland China.

It is the highest number of PLA aircraft recorded in one day since the island’s defence ministry began making information on daily fly-bys public in 2020 and comes as tensions run high over Taipei’s closer security ties with the US.

The PLA Eastern Theatre Command staged joint combat readiness and firepower strike drills in airspace and waters around Taiwan on Sunday in retaliation for Washington’s approval of increased military aid for the island.

According to the ministry’s statement, which included a PLA flight path chart, the warplanes that crossed the de facto border included 12 J-11 fighter jets, six Sukhoi Su-30 fighters, six J-10s, 18 J-16s, one Y-8 early warning aircraft, one Y-8 anti-submarine plane, one KJ-500 early warning plane and two reconnaissance drones.

As rain has just put pay to a walk, just out of curiosity, in this thread title, why use the word ‘scrambles ’ ?

Did the orders for take-off get muddled?

As the thread author only ever regurgitates laughable Chinese propaganda, perhaps English is not their first language. :P
