Spain has provisionally selected Turkish Aerospace Hurjet trainer to replace their SF-5 lead in fighter trainers

Spain and Türkiye signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 20 December related to the Turkish Aerospace (TA) Hürjet advanced jet trainer aircraft.

Signed between the Spanish Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries, the MOU forms the basis of bilateral co-operation on the Jet Training Aircraft Project.
