C.17A unit swaps

Post by das » Sat Oct 17, 2009 7:47 am

Morning all,

It would seem several C.17A have been swapped about between the 97th AMW and active AMC units recently. More for us REACH spotters to get.

98-0053 62 AW
92-3293 437 AW
93-0602 437 AW

01-0194 97 AMW
98-0057 97 AMW
99-0063 97 AMW

at least, anone know any others?

Hi Ray,

cheers for the list. I note that 92-3294 has yet to be logged on SBS! Have you seen the 2nd transformers film? 92-3294 is used (with 87-0025), both flying out of Edwards(in the 1st film they used 87-0025 + 03-3121). As 03-3121 is having some work done at Boeing (getting ready to join active unit perhaps?), maybe 3294 is its replacement with 412th TW?

Morning all,

AE07DB RCH3601 C.17A 93-0601 picked up on SBS early doors today, another ex 97 AMW machine! This headed into Germany, so a unit tie-up should be along fairly soon.

Hi again,

a quick check reveals 93-0601 appears to be 62 AW now! Also, 97-0042 picked up in Washington state using c/s HUSKY, so should now be 62 AW also. Keep em coming!
