Great idea this thread. I can be on youtube all day if i had the time watching anything about military aircraft stuff.
Seems to be a lot of truly fascinating documentary videos on youtube that the BBC made in the 70's and 80's about the RAF and Navy pilots and exercises etc, i can't think of anything recent that the Beeb have made about aircraft, lot of drivel on TV these days sadly.
Here's a brilliant video i've found of a Buccaneer pilot trying to make his first deck landing -

Sailor series. HMS Ark Royal. Buccaneer landings and bolters - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bW7tjy7AOk&NR=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Probably a good thing that the beeb haven't made any docs like that for a while, if they did they would find a way of ruining it by having either Julia Bradbury, Clare balding or that annoying scottish guy from coast presenting it :grr:

Anti-Beeb rant over :ninja:

The Jugroom Fort raid as viewed from the raid assembly point on the hill to the SE of the fort. Only a bit of footage of the AH's near to the end but for anyone who has read the book it's interesting to see a little bit of footage of how it panned out.
