Sorry if I sounded a bit heavy handed - I don't want to offend you guys.

This is a great thread and would like to keep it going.
How about this more recent pic.

Well, it's a Portuguese Air Force F-16B and there seems to be something wrong with the port tailplane. Now that being a lead to follow, and looking at the vegetation in the background, it looks like Beja Airbase in Portugal. So .... a bit of 'research' takes me to the mid-air collision between this F-16 and a RAF Hawk on 26 May 1996 during a Tiger Meet at Beja.

Hawk pilot ejected safely - Flt Lt Marcus Cook.

Spoilsport !
I was hoping for some fun with this one - you are of course quite correct.
And hearing some comments from anyone else who was there.

The airfield attack was quite chaotic and spectacular, but I did note the F16s in the distance, so when the Hawks zoomed across and XX302 twinkle-rolled skywards I had that sinking feeling and knew there was something wrong. Then there was a "poof" as they impacted and the Hawk tumbled down - followed by a huge sigh of relief when the parachute appeared. If you read the accident report, there's no need to wonder why there isn't a fast jet Tiger squadron after that !

I'll post some more pics when I have edited them

Well done!

Indeed it is a Fouga Magister CM 170, Registration MT03 displayed on a roundabout outside the former Belgian Airbase of Sint Truiden / Brustem. I passed there some years ago and saw this beauty. Below the full story and pictures:-

Rooivalk thought it was a tiger to begin with. South African Air Force only operator I think.

Denel Rooivalk?

was being touted as AAC attack helicopter, competing against the Airbus Tiger and the Boeing AH-64 Apache.
The rest is history!
