I received the email notification and replied within ten minutes only to get the same reply stating that the event is already full. Must do better next time as I did dither for a couple of minutes double checking that I had nothing else on that day.

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
After sending two e-mails for the May event and getting no response, I gave up, so no opportunity for this one either.....
Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
Same as the May photoshoot for me as well.
I bet they could run one of these events every month and still get plenty of takers and funds.
I don't know how many places there are, but the cynic in me is saying there's a bit of tipping off through the old boys network when these events are bookable. How else can they sell out so quickly?
Also why not give the reserve list first shout on the next occasion?

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
I thought that the ones on the May trip were all getting an email first. I guess that the standard out of office is on for the moment so I wouldn't worry too much. Secondly I know a fair few people have declined to go this time so the ones who did not get a chance still might get in

Have had confirmation from the team at Marham that there is an issue with the automated response on the mailbox so, with luck, many who have applied will hear back shortly with positive news

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
Having not had a response to e-mails for the May event I sent another e-mail tonight and got a response in minutes. Have been added to reserve list for the next event as it has already reached capacity.
Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
After receiving another e-mail I have secured a place for July which was totally unexpected.
Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
I too received an email this week confirming that I have secured a place. It was a pleasant surprise after having received an 'inbox full' email when I made my application. I didn't hold out any hope and in fact I had put it to the back of my mind after removing the 'hold' from my calendar. Very much looking forward to this event now.

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
Guy's,
Anyone heard anything with regards to the event? Had an email saying my place had been secured but seems to have gone a little quiet from them.
Just curious if I have missed an email or something.
Cheers

No not heard anything else yet..
Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
I've submitted my form and made payment but I've not had any confirmation or joining instructions as yet. Hopefully we will have had something back before the weekend.

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 6th July
Got a place via COAP. They have replied but nothing from Marham. COAP say registration will be looked at Friday and further instructions will be sent next week by RAF

Anyone else still waiting for some form of joining instructions for the day itself? Have had confirmation of my place but nothing since!

Do we assume this event is cancelled ?
Or turn up at the gate at 13.30 ?
The lack of info is very worrying

Still nothing this morning. Its a little worrying as I, like everyone else I'm sure, need to make plans and its a long trip to take a chance on only to be turned away at the gate. I hope we get an email today.
