How many USAF C-135s have you seen?
Re: How many USAF C-135s have you seen?
56-3592 I logged at MHZ on 24/01/1982 and whilst not at MHZ 57-1420 at Fairford on 13/11/1982.
As for 58-0127 that was written off on 19/09/1979. 55-3126 went into the boneyard in July 1975.

Re: How many USAF C-135s have you seen?
I can think of a side thread to this one if anyone else fancies it .
Namely a photographic list of every 135 I know of a few on here who could go some way to completing it .
The photo does not have to be taken in the UK but extra points to those that have them.

That is a great list from tanker man
The eleven I thought I needed from Dutch wings military serials review 2014 are all still active.
( I bet there was the odd mis-pole when the tankers were in that dark scheme - European 1 was it called?)

38057 was a 1st ACCS EC-135J when I saw it land at Upper Heyford on 2 Aug'69. Call sign was "Skytop 2" 1st time in the UK?
It visited Upper Heyford again on 18 May'70 then departed to Mildenhall the same day as Skytop3"

Only just seen this thread very interesting, I thought I was doing OK needing 12 active/5 preserved USAF examples which is not bad living in Manchester, majority picked up at Mildenhall/Fairford late 70s to mid 90s
Last active one put in the book in July 1999 at Fairford, 3 or 4 preserved ones since

Interestingly. My sbs has logged only 485 Hexcodes associated with 135's, that's since 2007. Nothing new has come up for a couple of years now. Which brings up the point, how many are actually still flying?

Had a look at the DB, I have
AE0661 60-0351 Some time between May 2007 and Jan 2011. exact dates and details were deleted when I upgraded to an sbs1er.
AE01D9 62-4133 I have 5 contacts with this one, the last was 24-09-2012 at 10:32 as SNOOP56 probably departing the Hall.
So still at least 3 to wait for.
