Didn't 46066 go to Seymour on the 18th March?

15-46066 has just left BFI as BACKY41, presume on delivery. Just two new ones left here now, 56068 and 56070. N462KC and N464KC are still outside the Hangar at the north end.
So it did. Must have been back for something to be sorted out under warranty! 😁
It was interesting indeed. It came in under Backy 41 from SJ AFB, sat infront of the Boeing South (Mil) ramp on the twy for an hour or so, and departed to SJ AFB again.

I have noted "6066" as follows:
Paine Field, Sep 16, 2021: 96066.
Paine Field, Dec 13, 2021: N2014H. From photo's online N2014H (dated Nov 5, 2021) had 6066 on the nose wheel door.
Boeing Field, Jun 2, 2022: 56066.

Very confusing.

In addition to the above the following KC-46's were noted:

Boeing Field May 31 and June 2, 2022.
11-46002 as N462KC (North Ramp)
11-46004 as N464KC (North Ramp)
19-46066 as "56066" arrived and departed as Backy 41 mentioned above (only Jun 2nd)
19-46068 as "56068" (Mil ramp)
19-46070 as "56070" (Mil ramp)

Paine Field May 31, 2022.
11-46001 as N461FT as "16001" (West Ramp)
11-46003 as N463FT no Mil tail number (West Ramp)
15-46005 as N842BA no Mil tail number (West Ramp)
15-46006 as ln 1092 gray c/s no tail number (Boeing South)
15-46007 as "96007" (Boeing delivery CTR)
15-46008 as ln 1100 in primer no tail number (Boeing South)
15-46010 as "56010" (Boeing delivery CTR)
20-46072 as "06072" (Boeing delivery CTR)
20-46073 as "06073" (Boeing South)
20-46076 as "06076" (Boeing South)
? as N5022E (Boeing delivery CTR)
? ln 1271 in primer (Boeing Factory)

I am wondering, and this is complete speculation on my part, that some of the earlier KC-46's (FY 11's) that have a lot of rework to be completed before delivery may take the slot of the newer production KC-46's (FY19 and Y20) and vice versa. perhaps that is why some of the original FY19/FY20 KC-46's now have what it seems FY15 tail numbers and the single FY15 now has a FY19 tail number.

This one was a delivery! 15-46068 left Boeing Field on 3 June as BACKY11 for SJ. This might also provide an explanation for the visit of 15-46066 as BACKY41 on 2 June that is referred to above - could it have been bringing in a crew for the next day's delivery?

Boeing has booked 3 KC-46A deliveries to USAF for September, so we can expect some more flyaways from KBFI (Boeing Field) any time now - that is if I haven't missed any, the latest I'm aware of is 19-46071 in August as noted above in this thread.

Out of interest USAF has also amended its contract with Boeing to receive a further 15 aircraft to be delivered by 30 November 2025 and Israel has ordered 4 KC-46As,

From 'Air Force Times':

Supply chain woes delay KC-46 refueling vision system upgrade to 2025

WASHINGTON — The release of a redesigned refueling vision system for Boeing’s KC-46 Pegasus will be delayed 19 months amid supply chain issues, the U.S. Air Force said.

In a statement provided to Defense News Friday, the Air Force said the remote vision system upgrade, RVS 2.0, will be released to the fleet in October 2025. It had been expected to be released March 2024.
